You know the business can grow. You just aren't sure exactly what to do next.
There are lots of ways to grow and you know it: more direct sales, new source markets, better yield, agent channels, repeat guests. The hard part is turning those ideas into a proper strategy that you can actually implement. Between running departures or answering email, and with no time to step back, the business stays the same size it was last year.
The Basics
For established multi-day tour operators.
Porto, Portugal — October 21-25, 2026
A written growth plan in four parts.
Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory.
Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.

The Problem

What You'll Build

WHY PORTO?
Your Retreat Leaders

Peter SYme
He has run Huddles in Charleston, Scotland, Madrid, and Porto, and operators describe his sessions the same way every time: hard-nosed, honest, and built entirely around making the business more profitable. He is also a sought-after speaker on digital leadership and AI in tourism, has travelled to over 130 countries, and has twice crossed more than 1,000 miles of the Gobi Desert on foot.

guest coaches
We've got a few names in mind already, operators who've built real businesses well past where most attendees sit now. Each track gets one coach, chosen once we know who's in your cohort and what they need most.
The Schedule
Pre-Arrival: Virtual Session
October 21 — Arrival
October 22, 23, 24 — THE WORK
OCTOBER 25 — TAKE OFF
30 DAYS AFTER - DID YOU MOVE
60 DAYS AFTER - WHAT'S WORKING
90 DAYS AFTER - WHERE YOU STAND
The curriculum
Partner Channels & B2B
Buying every booking gets old fast, and it gets expensive. You build the trade relationships, agents, referral partners, whoever sells alongside you, and figure out how to make your trip the one they push first. Then you price the commissions so the channel actually pays you back.

Digital Visibility
How travelers find a trip has changed, and it's not slowing down. You figure out where they're actually looking now, search, AI answers, social, and make sure you're the one they find and trust. Then you fix whatever's costing you bookings.

Pricing and Product
You don't need to charge more to make more. Redesign trips around the high-value stuff you actually run yourself, stop outsourcing the parts that bleed margin, and price what's left properly.

Operational backbone
If the business only runs because you're in the middle of every booking, that's not a system. That's a bottleneck with your name on it. You get your bookings, guests, and numbers organized into one structured place, so automation has something to actually run on.

testimonials
Cherrye MooreMy Bella Vita Travel“Transformative is a really good word for it. I came in with some main issues I wanted to hit on, and those got covered relatively quickly, so I came up with new questions to ask. I have a notebook full of ideas that I’m going to prioritize and implement so I can brag to everyone that they’re all done in my accountability group.”
Manish SinhaUnhotel Companny“At a point where I had to flip my business model from domestic to outbound (multi day), the huddle was invaluable. Over three days, Peter, Chris, and Mitch pushed all of us with tough questions and strategic thinking. Peter Syme, before the huddle, I didn’t even have a proper business plan and the focus on revenues was feeble. Peter you drilled that into me. Of course, it’s taken hard work and many pivots, but the huddle forced me to step outside and work on the business and that makes it a must.”
Mike DunthorneIn Your Element“I can vouch personally for the power of The Huddle. Benefits were numerous. Lots of quick wins around revamping website, pricing strategies, and marketing knowledge etc but the game changer for me was a shift in strategy and a bit of a downsizing / refocusing project which we have just finished two years post huddle. We are going to have our most profitable year in 20 years of trading this year, in ‘interesting’ trading conditions.”
Valur Heiðar SævarssonYour Friend In Reykjavik“An amazing journey 🙏, thank you for the support and for being able to be a part of a community of Tourpreneurs on a similar path. This huddle gave me the necessary clarity to take the right next steps for Your Friend in Reykjavik.”
Mallory NettletonFrance Of A Lifetime Tours“It was the best thing that I could have possibly done for my business. It was overwhelming because I have so much to do, but just having the guidance and the knowledge of those who have come before us is going to change the game for us.”
LindsayYour Friend In Reykjavik“Peter wasn’t misleading when he says ‘intense’ three days of working on your business is tough. But it’s infinitely easier in a room full of people doing the same thing! If you can get into one of these huddles I 100% recommend it,
P.S. YeoEveryday Tour Company“It’s the best thing I done in 2026 so far (and I honestly don’t think anything will top it). Most of all, I truly appreciate the collaborative mindset everyone had, which has far reaching impact beyond the time at the Huddle.”

Established multi-day operators doing roughly $500K to $2M or more a year, with products that already sell.
Outbound is for operators taking travelers abroad. Inbound is for DMCs and local operators hosting travelers in their own destination.
We read every application ourselves. You’ll get an invitation or a spot on the waitlist once your cohort review is done, in early August.
We look at the shape of your business, your market, and who else has applied, and build each cohort for fit. A strong application can still get waitlisted if the mix is wrong for that group.
After acceptance, we’ll ask for a $500 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. After that, we’ll agree upon a payment plan that suits your finances. Full payment is due 30 days prior.
No. The program fee covers the five days of sessions, the pre-arrival call, and your three follow-up calls. Lodging, most meals, and travel to Porto are on you.
Book something near São Bento train station. It’s central, walkable to where we’ll be working, and a good base for the week.
Of course. Email aubrie@tourpreneur.com and she’ll be happy to hop on a call or email and chat through this opportunity.
