  • A central hub in the experiences industry

We bring together 24,000+ operators across our Facebook Group, the Circle community platform, weekly newsletters, the Tourpreneur Podcast, and Conferences, Business Retreats and local gatherings around the world.

It is where trusted tools are discovered, where service providers gain visibility, and where meaningful conversations take place. For Preferred Partners, it offers direct access to the decision-makers shaping the future of tours and activities.

    Who is our audience?

Tourpreneur’s core audience is made up of tour and activity operators from around the world. These include emerging micro-operators as well as established experience brands. They are businesses that design, sell, and manage tours, excursions, cultural activities, immersive experiences, and adventure-based outings. Operators come to Tourpreneur for education, tools, peer connection, and practical support.

In addition to operators, the community includes content creators, travel tech companies, marketing agencies, and service providers. Together, they form a focused ecosystem built around problem solving, innovation, and industry collaboration.

    Industry Visibility & Brand Positioning

Your company shows up regularly across everything we publish. Send us blog posts, company updates, launches, events, or resources and we place what fits, as long as it is helpful rather than purely promotional. Some of it we pick up and run without you sending it.

    • Regular features in Tourpreneur Weekly, our email newsletter
    • Regular mentions in TourTech Weekly, our LinkedIn newsletter, with your company tagged
    • A dedicated LinkedIn welcome post announcing your partnership, with your review and approval of the copy
    • Logo placement on the Tourpreneur homepage, rotating among other Preferred Partners

Get a featured appearance on Tourpreneur Talks.

Once a year you headline a live Tourpreneur Talks webinar built around your product, a strategy, or a customer case. The ones that land give operators a real story rather than a product tour.

    • Co-hosted by Tourpreneur to ensure value-driven delivery
    • Promoted for up to four weeks in advance across all TP platforms
    • The recording is turned into blog posts, social content, and clips, shared on all TP platforms and yours to reuse

    (Virtual) Travel Trade Shows

Every partner gets a table at our virtual travel trade show, hosted twice per year. Operators move through the virtual event and sit down at whichever "tables" they want, and the ones who sit down at yours are there because they are looking for a solution. No booth build, no travel, and no preparation beyond showing up.

    • Each table is a live video call, so operators arrive expecting a demo
    • Several hundred operators attend live across the event
    • Curated and themed, and promoted across every Tourpreneur channel beforehand

    Market Insights

The Insights Engine is a market research tool built on seven years of Tourpreneur Facebook group posts. Ask it a question in plain language and it reads the archive, answers, and links you back to the original threads. It comes with your membership and is not open to operators or to the rest of the community.

Start by searching your own company name.

Then search the problem you solve.

Find out which companies they name when someone asks for a recommendation.

Your first year as a partner

This is a 6 to 12 month effort. The partners who get the most value show up consistently, contribute helpful content, and educate rather than pitch.

    01

    Onboarding call

Your partnership starts with a live walkthrough of the Tourpreneur ecosystem, your benefits, your listings and team setup, and your partnership goals.

    02

    Post coaching

We coach you on tone, timing, and content strategy for your Facebook Group posts, with an optional review before you post.

    03

    Monthly partner email

Each month you get an email listing what is available to you that month.

    04

    Quarterly roundtables

You join calls with Tourpreneur leadership and the other partners, recorded and shared in Circle.

    05

    Check-ins anytime

You can check in informally with TP leadership whenever you want strategic feedback.

Questions partners ask before they join.

The core audience is small operators, from solo founders to teams of five, and many bring in under $500,000 a year. About 40 percent are in the United States and about 40 percent are in Europe, where the UK is the largest group. Day tour and multi-day businesses are close to an even split. If your service is built for larger companies, talk to us before you join, because the members who post most often may not be able to buy it yet.

That depends on how often you show up. The partners operators recommend to each other answer questions in the group every week, send us news for the newsletter, and teach something useful on Tourpreneur Talks. A partner who joins and waits for inquiries hears very little. It works, but it is not passive.

If you sell booking or operations software, join in the fall. Operators switch software in December and January, when bookings are slow, so fall is when to build name recognition. Service providers can start any time of year.

Post a short introduction in the Facebook group from your personal profile and say which company you are with. We never post in the group as a brand, and you should not either, because members recommend people they know by name. Send us any posts, videos, or updates you already have and we will queue them for the weekly newsletters. Then start commenting on operator questions you can answer.

Email us a link to something new, such as a blog post, a launch page, a video, or a small product update. Anything that arrives by the end of Monday can run in Tuesday’s Tourpreneur Weekly. Send a different link each time, and you can appear as often as you have something to share. The newsletter opens at 40 to 50 percent, and almost all of our own event signups come from it.

Start from a problem operators already ask about. Hiring, training, and managing guides is the biggest group of questions in the Facebook group. A session that solves a real problem reaches operators who did not know they had it. Talks air live on Wednesdays at 11am Eastern, and we suggest booking yours about two months after you join, once operators recognize your name.

Plan it before the show, because we do not share attendee emails with exhibitors. Set up a landing page or an offer operators can claim at your table. Your headline sits next to your logo in the lobby and decides who walks in, so make it name the problem you solve. Two people from your team can host the table together.

Yes. The membership sits under one person’s account, and your teammates can join the Facebook group and Circle too. One person manages your tour.directory profile.
