What is WORKWEEK?
Once a year, the Tourpreneur community comes together in person for a week that works the way you do. You keep your business moving, work through real problems alongside operators who get it, and go home with progress, a plan for the year ahead and the feeling that you have found your people.
Why we built it
Running a tour business means constantly choosing between working in it and working on it. A conference takes you away from bookings for days and sends you home with a notebook full of ideas and no time to use them. And the people who truly understand what you do are spread across the world, running businesses of their own.
We built Workweek so you don’t have to choose.
What Workweek gives you
Check in
Workweek is where the community sees how everyone is doing. Each morning, a few operators share a challenge they are working through and the group weighs in. A board in the coworking space shows who needs help, who can help and who wants to meet whom.
Deepen relationships
You spend five days with the same people: a shared coworking space in the mornings, small workshops in the afternoons, and dinners and socials in the evenings. The design aims for ten to twenty relationships with operators who understand the work.
Learn from one another
Workshops of up to 16 people are built around the business problems attendees send in, and the formats put operators' own experience to work, from hot seats to peer boards.
Get oriented for the year ahead
You leave with progress on the work you brought, a clear set of next steps you feel capable of putting into place, and a clear view of the year ahead.
How the week works
Morning
Your own work
Each morning starts with a short group check-in, where a few operators share something they are working through and everyone weighs in. After that, the shared coworking space becomes your office. Keep the business running, move a big project forward or book one-to-one time with anyone attending. You get focused hours on your own work with people around you who understand exactly what it takes.
Afternoon
Small workshops
Before the week, you send us up to three business problems you want help with. We build the afternoon workshops around them, so every session tackles something an operator in the group is facing right now. Workshops stay small and are led by experts, partners, hosts and fellow operators in formats like hot seats and peer boards. You choose the ones that fit your business when booking opens in mid October 2027.
Evening
Gather, then go explore
Evenings are for the community. Some nights bring the whole group together to share a meal and keep the conversations from the day going. Other nights are made for breaking off with the people you have met to explore Marrakech together. We line up opt-in social and cultural activities for those nights, so there is always something to join, or you can make your own plans with new friends.
The workshop formats
Clinic
A clinic fixes a practical business problem, led by an expert or a partner who works through it with the group.
Hot seat
In a hot seat, one operator's business is put on the table and challenged by peers, so the operator hears what they may have stopped noticing.
Peer board
In a peer board, operators who run similar businesses work through a shared problem together, with a facilitator.
Build room
In a build room, people create something during the session and leave with it.
Debate room
In a debate room, a contested topic is argued out to force hard thinking, led by a host, a partner or an operator.
Walkshop
In a walkshop, the conversation happens while walking.
Partner lab
In a partner lab, a travel technology partner helps solve a business issue that operators bring.
Price and registration
You book your own flights and accommodation, and a housing share board in Circle helps you split a riad or apartment. Meals beyond the organized evenings, local tours and some opt-in evening activities are extra.
Your membership covers one person.
Your registration includes a full year of Tourpreneur PRO.

“The un-conference format is exactly what this community needs.”
Sean Grant, Great Falls Travel
Didier MonotLifeTrail“Love this group and the podcast, connecting with other passionate tour operators from all around the world. Being a small hiking business here in Western Australia with a home office, you feel like you’re alone sometimes. But Tourpreneur helps you feel sane, stay on track.”
Sarah CoveyVibrant Travelers“Suddenly I have a humongous network of people who have lots and lots of years of experience. And so for me, suddenly I have a huge group of people that I can go to when I need help or if I just need to vent or brainstorm. So it’s been amazing. It’s been completely life changing.”
Andrew CashHead of the Class Tours“It’s encouraging. I’m not doing it alone. I’m doing it with a whole host of people, some of whom are friends, some of whom are new friends, some of whom are just friendly competitors even. But we’re all in this together.”
Marica Mackenroth BrewsterVon Mack Agency“Favorite part was getting to meet so many people from this group IRL.”

Jessica HammerTaste of Toulouse“And honestly, the highlight for me was just getting to know so many other inspiring tour operators. Like, the inspiration to me is the most important thing because it’s so, so energizing, and I don’t feel like I’m alone like I normally am.”
Don LittlefieldBrews Cruise“But the reality is we’re working together to change the narrative on how tours and experiences can really be delivered in a transformative, exciting, revolutionary, innovative way. We’re not alone. There’s a whole community of us out there.”

Valur Heiðar SævarssonYour Friend in Reykjavik“You know when you’re doing everything yourself you sometimes feel isolated. You can’t talk with anybody about your problems … being part of the community helped us kind of like help me seeing that there are similar problems, there are similar goals so you get a sense of community.”
Nicole WillAsheville Wellness Tours“The same thoughts that swim in my head all the time swim in their heads too. I am not as crazy as I thought I was, and that’s really reassuring.”

Meghan MilesCity Tours MKE“It’s just really about getting to know the people and realizing they’re actual human beings and not just on the web. And this, the doing the shindigs and the gatherings, I feel like is very empowering because again, it’s that connection you’re building with people.”

Frequently asked
Huddles and Workweek are different experiences. A Huddle is an intensive full-on five days with a small group of operators who run the same kind of business, in which each operator takes their business apart, diagnoses the problems, and puts it back together stronger.
Workweek is the wider Tourpreneur community coming together once a year to check in, deepen relationships, learn from one another and get oriented for the year ahead. The week is designed so people can join in and step out around the needs of their own business.
At a conference, you step away from your business for a few days, listen to speakers and go home with ideas you rarely have time to use. At Workweek, you bring your business with you.
Mornings are for your own work, afternoons are small workshops built around the problems attendees send in, and evenings are for the community. You spend the week working alongside other operators, so you leave with real progress instead of a long list of ideas.
Workweek is for anyone in the industry. It is built for tour and experience operators of any kind and size, including day tours, multiday trips, food tours, adventure, self-guided tours and DMCs. The other operators may run different kinds of tours, and they understand what it takes to sell and deliver one.
November is warm, the city is walkable, and its riads and terraces suit small groups and outdoor conversation. Everything happens within a 15 minute walk of the shared coworking space. Tourpreneur held Connect in Marrakech in November 2024, with a local partner and desert experiences before the event.
Pete, Mitch and Aubrie host the week.
Workweek is built for all five days, and that is how you get the most from it. If you can only come for part of it, come for part of it.
