Tourpreneur Retreat

a small-group retreat that will change how you think about tour design

Give us a week, we'll change how you imagine your tour business.

In the age of AI and copycat tours, the most powerful business strategy is your creativity.

The best business strategy today in the age of AI and copycat tours is your own creativity. Ours is a young industry, and we’ve only begun to imagine the possibilities of what a tour might be. Of what true hospitality looks like. Join us for an unforgettable week of reimagining what you think is possible for your tour business.

The Basics

When? Where?

Porto, Portugal — October 21-25, 2026

Manage colors effortlessly using our visual GUI, that allows you to set up your colors, organize them in groups.
HOW?

A week of 100% hands-on experiential learning

You'll learn our design strategies by doing and connecting with leaders in hospitality.
Who?

For 10 multi-day tour operators.

You are a business that relies on your uniqueness and differentiation. You aren't a scaled cookie cutter tour company.

"Design is the last great competitive advantage."

—Seth Godin

Why Design?

Most tour operators set and forget their tours. Most are in the box of finding vendors, setting times, and "solving" their itineraries like a puzzle. This is all about going deeper.

Why Porto?

We chose Porto for the way it's thinking about its historical heritage while reimagining hospitality. New hotels, restaurants and experiences are changing its image and we'll feed off that energy as we examine our own businesses.

What will we do?

Craft and manage your reusable components like buttons, inputs, links and cards from one place, in a fully visual live editor. It's easy and fun to use.

testimonials

  • Victoria Sullivan-Eaton
    Grayline Orlando

“It means I have other people that have my back. I feel that we are a community and we are a different community within the travel space. We are not airlines, we are not hotels, we are not cruise companies, we’re not bus companies. We’re tourpreneurs. We are the tour people that help make the experiences happen. And by having that community you can leverage it. You can help with relationships. You can lean on each other and learn from each other and the learning is where the magic happens because it helps our small worlds go around.”

  • Nicole Will
    Asheville Wellness Tours

“Everybody in the room — the same thoughts that swim in my head all the time swim in their heads too. I am not as crazy as I thought I was, and that’s really reassuring. It makes me feel less crazy, makes me feel less alone. I don’t think that kind of gathering in our specific experiences space happens very often.”

  • Don Littlefield
    Brews Cruise

“We tend to think of ourselves as fighting against some unknown enemy, trying to get the same consumers to pay money to us. But the reality is we’re working together to change the narrative on how tours and experiences can really be delivered, in a transformative, exciting, revolutionary, innovative way. We’re not alone. There’s a whole community of us out there.”

  • Mary Collins
Blue Fern Travel & Far Horizons

“My favorite part was just getting to know a community of like minded folks doing similar things in the industry — I definitely did not have that community prior to this retreat and prior to Tourpreneur. There’s kind of a resource for every question you have, and that community of always meeting new folks, all over the world, is pretty amazing.”

  • Valur Heiðar Sævarsson
    Your Friend In Reykjavik

“When you’re a solo tour operator you sometimes get caught in your own mind, your own way of doing things. By meeting people like minded you get out of your thought process, you get new ideas, new ways of doing things, new ways of valuing things. Being part of the community helped me see that there are similar problems, similar goals. You get a sense of community.”

  • Eva-Maria Egipt-Peenmaa
    Nordic Experiences

“It has been really great. I feel that I have completely different new ideas for my business, but I also have some things that I needed reconfirming from the past, and now I have the assurance to do those changes.”

Transformation, Guaranteed. Or Your money back.
