Event Details

Our venue is the legendary Second City improv comedy theater in Lincoln Park. Second City started in 1959 as a small comedy cabaret, and over the years they’ve given starts to the careers of some of the most famous comedians we know: Bill Murray, John Candy, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Stephen Colbert. The surrounding neighborhood is filled with restaurants and shops.

There are tons of hotels within walking distance of Second City to fit any budget (for example, Hotel Lincoln & The Hotel Sonó).

If you prefer to stay downtown in the Chicago Loop, we have a limited number of room blocks available at the Aloft Chicago Mag Mile (a 10 minute taxi, or 40 minute walk from the venue).  You can book using this link, or call +1 (888) 236-2427 and tell them you’re booking as part of the Tourpreneur room block.  Cut off to book is July 5 (or until rooms run out).

The historical Second City began in 1959 as a small comedy cabaret and have grown to become the first name in improv and comedy.

Then join us at 7pm for a kickoff Welcome Party

Day 1 — Saturday, July 27

CONNECT Main Event Day

9am Doors open
10am-5pm CONNECT Main Event: expert talks, vendor booths, and breakout sessions all day.

Day 2 — Sunday, July 28

Small Group Meetings + Activities

We'll meet in small groups in the morning  for "Breakfast Breakouts", going further in depth in small groups on topics of your choice.

In the afternoon enjoy more tours & activities with our local partners.  You can ask them questions and see their businesses in action.

Booking Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of Terms: By purchasing a ticket through this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read these carefully.

Ticket Purchases: Tickets purchased are for personal use and cannot be exchanged, refunded, or returned unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled. Tickets CAN be transferred to another person.

Pricing: All prices are in USD. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.

Payment: Payment for tickets is to be made upfront and in full at the time of purchase.

Availability: Ticket availability is not guaranteed. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Event Cancellation: If the event is cancelled, we will offer a full refund of the ticket price. Any additional costs incurred related to the event are not refundable.

Rescheduling: If the event is rescheduled, your tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date.

Personal Data: We collect personal data during the ticket purchase process for transaction purposes, and in compliance with our Privacy Policy.

Age Restrictions: Buyers must be at least 18 years old to purchase tickets.

At a minimum, plan to arrive on Friday, July 26th in time for the welcome party at 7pm. Then, leave in the afternoon of Sunday, July 28.
